The cool eye aif icon was on Desk temporarily and then disappeared after subsequent revisions. Can please you tell me/us, how do i restore it and minimised tab as in your screenshots? .Thanks.
If you are using PowerDesk, you can get it back easily by adding a shortcut to FN. How did you get it first time, anyway?
Otherwise, I can add "Add to Desk" function to FN.

For creating/handling archives I'd need an zip/unzip library (OPX), like the Zipenx, used in View+, by great generosity of Serge Chestopalov.
As to the "Send as" functions, I must be honest and say I didn't check/try the SendAs.OPX library as yet. Be patient!

I managed to get FN send file(s) via E-Mail, but cannot get it send via Infrared, Bluetooth and MMS.
Either it is not possible from OPL or I'd need to be enlightened?

In the early versions, the aif icon just appeared on desk after installation but disappeared subsequently. Tried to fix it to no avail. Anyway, "Add to desk" function will be a wise implementation in final release.

FileNote 2.05 Beta06:
1) Added "Send" function, under Browser's "File" menu group.
At the moment you can send either single files or marked files via E-Mail.
I cannot get SendAs.opx to send files via Infrared, Bluetooth and SMS. Maybe it cannot be done from OPL?!?
2) Added "Memory reclaim" function - internal FN routine (proprietary).
Use Ctrl+A or menu item from "Tools" menu group.
3) Added function "Info" (Ctrl+P) to Macros panel ("Item" menu group).
You get shortcut name and associated (fullpath) file information.
4) When FN Browser is minimized to a bar (Sh+Ct+Up), ESC will send it to
background. Also, dot(.) will bring Macros panel.
Macro panel can be minimized to a bar (Sh+Ct+Up) and expanded with Down key.
Also, ESC will send minimized Macros bar to background.

Compactor is used to compact all data(base) files on your device.
Just to mention that FileNote group member Roberto Colistete managed to retrieve 25Mb on his 512Mb memory card!

Compactor in action, showing current folder, number of already compacted files and saved size:
- Compare whole files or only exact chunks of data.
- Although files are processed byte per byte it is very fast: around 15.000 bytes per second.
- No limitation in size of files to compare, as long as the "Compare length" (chunk of compared data) is smaller than available RAM memory on your device.
Actually that means you can compare files of let say 100Mb each.
