Yes!
I've performed the whole procedure, but found then that do not like all the changes.
So I went to the DIF file as a reference and reverted things manually!
So you do not own an english netBook, Leo? (what then?)
But I do not like Z: drive to be included in the Shell listing
Leo
Me neither! It's annoying to always pass it over when switching drives.
But it's probably not worth patching OS manually only for that reason.
It should be better that patch applier is written in a way to ask you for any change before patching it!
BTW, there is still a bug of 30min switch off time!

P.S. Leo, did you edit OS.IMG in direct edit mode?

You can edit the .dif file, where the data for patching is stored. You just need to delete this part :
Code:
# Visible Z: drive (RomDrive) in shell drive selection listbox
# Value of the enum const EDriveY changed to the value EDriveZ
# (0x50316e60 - 0x5033ea1c) --> [-R---] 162748 /System/Apps/Shell/Shell.app

There are 2 bugs still, one with 30 min. switch off and the other when switching off stops working at all for unknown reason
I did not use direct mode when patching OS.IMG, sorry...
I've been afraid to do it!
Direct edit mode, although been tested, is a rather new option, so I decided not to use it on a such significant (and large!) file OS.IMG is!

Yes. I understand
But it's as safe as Edit box mode, especially coz you can use Ctrl+Z (Undo) to preview all changes made and revert them
