Buttonbar could be qickly brought up over Notes window. When you would need Notes view, you just switch it off. Or you can keep it all the time, if you like.
There could be 3-4 sets of buttons (via Ctrl, Shift, Fn etc...).
What you see is just a number of randomly picked up commands. We could define all button sets here on the Forum
If you that, than we lost the possibility of 'Fn+3' and we can't see the comment that you make by a folder or file.
You can work faster with fast key combinations, than with buttons.
In my view point it isn't necessary. _________________ Regards,

No problem with "Fn+3" - if you press it, a view on Note area is automatically released and then closed.
It could be used generally for a quick view on file notes.
BTW, Buttonbar is optional - you can switch it off if you don't need it

Come on, guys, is there any wish to help here?
There will be 40 command buttons on the buttonbar.
When buttonbar is ON, there is always plain 8 buttons (first set).
Different set of buttons will appear when you press Ctrl (second set), Shift (third set), Ctrl+Shift (fourth set) and Function key (fifth set).
Could you advice what 40 commands to use for the buttons?
The way they are placed in different sets is not important, since all buttons are customizable through a special dialog!
Buttonbar can be quickly toggled on /off via Fn+2.
When you use Command line, Buttonbar is automatically switched off and brought back after Command line is closed.
Kees, Fn+3 is now always available, regardless of the length of the selected file/folder! If Buttonbar is ON, it just popups over it
Also, as to the objection about seeing file notes in the Note area while Buttonbar is ON,
it's not a problem as you can switch on "Show assigned files" and all files/folders with assigned note will be underlined!
From now on, there is second INI file, where some settings from Note+ are preserved, like "Show assigned files", "Show opened files" and "Enable/disable refresh".

I think that's a problem, 40 commands, what a lot.
Note+ list
Recent files
History list
Fn+1
Fn+3
(Shift+Ctrl+Up)
(Shift+Ctrl+Left)
(Shift+Ctrl+Right)
Copy
Copy to system clipboard
Copy to Bitmap clipboard
Move
Replace all
Save
Save As
(Ctrl+Enter) in N+
Zip
Create file
Create folder
Rename
Compute CRC32
Properties
1 or 2 panels
Refresh
Ctrl+Fn+K(ees) (Not yet available in N+)

Logical Fn+2 was still free

Oke thank you, I hope it was good idea. _________________ Regards,

Now that there will be 60 commands to choose from, almost all available Note+ commands will be included!

You mean main View+ Toolbar?
No I mean the N+ Toolbar that you create at this moment.
Kees.
You probably mean the Buttonbar that is shown on the screenshot (first post in this thread)?
If so, yes, you can assign commands to every button on your own, if you mean that by classify
