It's simple if you know, but if you don't know, you need a help file Wink
It's the same function, Kees, and it behaves the same way either you use
hotkey or buttonbar!
The point is that there 2 behaviour of this function in N+.
1) If a folder is under cursor, you jump into that folder in system screen.
2) If not a folder under cursor, you jump into current folder in system screen.
Logical, isn't it Wink
Obviously, you used no.1 when pressing button and no.2 when using Sh+Ct+G Smile

Well, this is the quotation from my mail to Kees.
It's about using "Jump to" function from Note+ File manager.
And it's important to note - it's not a new feature! It's new to Kees since he didn't use it earlier Smile

Edo

P.S. Thread with this name already exists, Kees!
But, as usual, I don't know how to rename/move it Wink

Here my impressions to the new version:
From what I tried out yet, all new features and fixes are working fine.
The dynamic toolbar is really a great thing!! (OK, a bit slow on the main toolbar, which can't be made faster because of the toolbar.opo) But all in all I didn't discover any bugs. I never ever
discovered any bug in View+ at anytime (tell me why Very Happy ), excluding
this ImgTrans thing Smile

Jonas,

There are bugs, and you can find them only through using the program.
Go on working with it, and discover some mysteries Smile

Just found a 'real' bug:

It happened after copying a file to View+ internal File Clipboard. I choosed Paste... from the V+ menu after that and received this error. Hope it can be reproduced Question
Greets, Jonas

EDIT: Argh, must be a failure of mine... I cannot even access the Settings anymore Sad. Maybe soft reset & reinstall helps...
EDIT2: Only deleted View+2.ini and it works aigain. Let's see, if there's a lil mistake Embarassed
EDIT3: Nah, after deleting the second ini-file once it all works aigain...

What did you do to get INI's coruppted? You are very talented, Jonas Very Happy
Your toolbar seems a bit pale Wink so that V+ info background is noticable! What Toolbar.opo do you use and where it is installed?
Is that a colourscheme you always use or just playing with it? Rolling Eyes

I used the toolbar patcher app and the (fixed? didn't noticed that it's working, only displays the full bat gauge everytime...) toolbar.opo is placed on C:\...

Ah I reproduced this error aigain...
Try copying a file/folder from disk Z:\ to the file clipboard and try to use "Paste..." on C:\ or D:\ and you will (possibly) get the same error...
The dynamic toolbar is activated btw.

EDIT: If you want, I could send you the second ini file...

I tried everything but couldn't get that error Rolling Eyes
Even tried to cut(move) from Z: but no error!
It doesn't have to do anything neither with dynamic toolbar nor with INI files!!!

What exactly command do you use to put file into File Clipboard?
Copy, Cut, Collect...?

Sad Why am I always the onliest one getting those errors? ...
I used Ctrl-Shift-C.

Just noticed: I get this error everytime! Even if it's on the normal disks...
If it helps: I zipped all my settings & ini-Files: http://free.pages.at/boni/V+Settings.zip
Maybe you can recreate it then...

I used your settings Jonas, but couldn't get the error Rolling Eyes
I'm afraid the cause might be in your P.S. - pached OS.IMG!
You are probably playing on the edge, Jonas, and don't blame V+ then, if something goes wrong Laughing

No, because this error happened yesterday the first time (the first time I used the file clipboard) and I used the new os.img today the first time... The fileclipboard isn't that important to me anyway so I can live with it.

It's always the same: If I get an error I am the only one *g* I should really stop playing so much with my netBook Smile

But it is important to me to trace the error, to find out if it is upto V+ or not!
I am waiting others to report. The point is that File Clipboard is pretty old V+ feature and hasn't been changed for many releases back!
And there was never a problem with it, especially that I and Leo use it haevily!
